LOMA is designed as a home that feels deeply rooted in its surroundings. The architecture embraces open space, natural light, and materials that come from the earth. Natural Chucum with warm textures, dark wood accents, soft green tones, Natural Red bricks and lush greenery woven throughout. These indigenous Mexican materials make the home feel rooted and grounded to the Land.

Conversation Pit

A fully built-in conversation pit creates a lowered, sheltered gathering space, drawing people inward, away from the openness of the rest of the floor. Sunken seating softens the transition between social and quiet moments, giving the room a natural sense of intimacy without enclosing it.

Kitchen

The kitchen at LOMA is built around a large central island in hand-laid terracotta tile, warm, tactile, and made to gather around. Dark wood cabinetry lines the walls, a wide window frames the canopy outside, and every surface is chosen to age beautifully in the tropical climate.

The ground floor is designed as a shared living space. Wide openings and a handmade wood grid wall let air and natural light flow freely throughout the day.

Pool Side

The open living space steps down into a backyard garden framed by a long lap pool bordered in terracotta tile. Sun loungers, tropical planting, and open sky make it the perfect space to cool off and relax or host gatherings, the kind of outdoor space that makes leaving feel impossible.
